  Observational astronomer

  Hi, I’m Amelia, I’m an observational extragalactic astronomer and Fellow at the European Southern Observatory (Garching). I study galaxies using optical integral field spectroscopy techniques with the aim of understanding their evolutionary histories.

  I am also deputy PI of the GECKOS Survey, an ESO VLT/MUSE large program aimed at understanding the assembly of disk galaxies through deep observations of edge-on galaxies.
